First test renders in Daz Studio


Hey everyone!

The last few weeks I worked through tons of tutorials for Daz Studio to get the hang of it and to decide if it's what I want to use for character assets for my games for the time being.
Turns out, yes, I like Daz and what I can achieve a lot!

My first test render with no particular character in mind, just using free stuff I gathered from all around, turned out neat. I'm going to dive into this.


I set up two cameras with different focus length, a HDRI dome with sun positioning and one spotlight to soften the shadows.
There's a bit of body and face morphing on the model Kaeko and I dialed in parameters to give her an uneven smirk.
Some light wind simulation effects the hair and dress for testing out those things, too.
I hope you like the result, too!

Right now I am browsing the shops to find assets I like for Sara, Rory and all other actors.
There'll be loads of pictures once I decided what to use and how to put it together so stay tuned ;)
